2 Boys and a Lilly

This wonderful family welcomed me into their home and the only thing more lovely than the home itself was the family in it. The youngest didn't take long to fall in love with the camera and his sister followed right behind him, posing and asking that I take another picture of her. The eldest, however, was more playful and tried his best to avoid me. They made me laugh the whole time I was with them and I had such a great time. [Love] To Daddy

Sara is a busy mother of 4 and the beloved wife to her army husband. This beautiful family had to say good-bye to their father in September, knowing he'd be gone for the next year as he was being deployed to Kuwait. Their love for one another is apparent and their strength is admirable. These photos were taken at their home as a surprise Christmas present for their loving Daddy so he could see his family waiting for him back home, counting down the "kisses" until they can be together again. You're an extraordinary woman and mother, Sara! And we are all grateful to you, Ryan, for your selflessness and sacrifice in serving our splendid country! Blue-Eyed Beauty

I had the pleasure of meeting up with this little blue-eyed beauty and her parents at their beautiful home for some holiday photos and found myself having so much fun playing with her that I almost forgot I was there to take pictures. She was so affectionate and playful and I enjoyed every minute I got to spend with her. I especially enjoyed how she would laugh whenever mom pretended to sneeze or, when she became distracted during the shoot, how her parents would have her "look for the ladybug." She would look to the ceiling and point excitedly every time... it was the cutest thing! She is so percious and I had such a great time with this wonderful family! :) 





A Family's Love

From the moment I met this beautiful family, I could feel the bond that they share. Denise and Chris are loving parents and their 2 children are amazing little people who are so full of personality. Both took some time to warm up to me but once they were comfortable, they were not shy to let their personalities shine, making them a pleasure to photograph. Denise, I am so honored that you approached me to do this for you and it was such a pleasure meeting you and your family :)

 

Fun with the Phillips'

This is a family that I love spending time with! Chris and Debbie share a special kind of relationship and have created a home full of love and laughter for their 2 wonderful boys, Charlie and Isaac. Charlie is a rambunctious 3year old who loves to run, jump, tumble and play, and Isaac is a sweet little guy who loves to take in his surroundings and smiles all the time. I had so much fun with these guys who enjoyed each other so much that it was easy to capture moments of real love between them. Chris & Debbie, you're such great people and spending time with your family is always something I look forward to :)

Sweet Isaiah

I had the pleasure of photographing Sweet Baby Isaiah and I just fell in love with him and all his little noises! He's so adorable and just loved being held by his Momma. Katherine, I feel blessed to say, is a dear friend of mine who works hard and who is an absolutely beautiful woman, inside and out. Her and her husband, Brett, added this lil bundle of joy to their family and you can see the joy that Little Isaiah brings to his Mom by the glow that she has and the smile she gets when talking about him. Katherine, I love ya and can't thank you enough for welcoming me into your home to take these photos of your precious lil boy!

 

Emily and her Boys

In past shoots, I have worked with children that I've known for at least some time and whose personalities were not a mystery to me. But with these guys, that was not the case. When Emily approached me to take pictures for her and her family, I was thrilled... but not nearly as pleased as when I actually got to meet them. Her handsome boys, Caleb, and his younger brother Cayden, made me laugh as much as I did chase after them and to say that they are a joy would be an understatement. Caleb just loved to pose and grab my attention in any way he could while Cayden, who adores his older brother, wanted nothing to do with me and preferred to spend his time running around. Emily had a wonderful way with the 2 of them and you could feel her love for them even in the cold November weather. I am so grateful to you, Emily, for letting me take these for you and for letting me spend time with you and your marvelous little men! I truly hope you enjoy these :)
