Happy Holidays!

I have been SOOO completely and amazingly blessed this year!! The best gift that came in 2012 was our precious little Avery Faith who we welcomed to our clan in April. She's a joy, a beauty, and is such a sweet, sweet baby and I thank God everyday for bringing her into our lives.

I am thankful for my Deviny and my Corbin who make me laugh, test my patience, dance more than I thought possible and who give me a reason to get up every morning and to strive to be the best me that I can be. I love them with all of my heart, soul, mind and spirit.

I'm thankful for my husband. He never stops working to support us and still makes time to be Deviny's prince, wrestle with Corbin, snuggle with Avery-Cakes and to be the rock that I need every day. I don't know what I did to deserve him but I'm SO glad I did it. He's my very best friend and I'm more than blessed to be able to share my life with him. I love you, Handsome!

I'm thankful for our family who love us and lift us up when we need it. I'm thankful for our home and the love and memories that we share here. I'm thankful for the time we get to spend together and for the challenges that we've faced and have overcome. But most of all I'm thankful for the love that I receive. From family, from friends, and from those of you who take the time to look at my photos and who have given me the honor of being your photographer. It's a path I never thought I'd be on but photography has allowed me to meet and get to know so many fabulous people and families and it's a gift that I'm so truly grateful for. I thank you for your support and for your business and I sincerely thank you for making this job so much fun to do!!

Happy Holidays from us to you and yours! May you be as blessed as we are <3

The W Family

Here is a family that I had heard a great deal about long before I had the pleasure of meeting them. Both D & S work with my husband and mother (and so they probably knew just as much about me as I did about them going into our session... maybe even more). I remember when their daughter, Isabelle, was born and was soooo excited to finally meet her! And she was even more fun than I had imagined she'd be. Her personality is bigger than she is and I'll admit that it was tough to keep up with her, at times. Her loving parents were so doting and patient and I loved watching how the 3 of them interacted with each other. Sweet Isabelle led our session and we were happy to follow her wherever she went :)

I can't thank you both enough for letting me take these for you. Your family is beautiful, truly!

The Walden Family

My Two Favorite People....

These are my amazing parents, Bruce and Linda. They've been married for over 30+ years and they're still so in love with one another. But, when we decided to do an impromptu session for a Christmas card photo, I wasn't sure how it would go. My Dad can be a pretty shy guy and my mom isn't one for jumping in front of a camera. However, the minute I grabbed my camera, they totally rocked it and didn't need any instruction from me! They just did their thing, teasing one another and fooling around, making one another laugh. It was a blast to watch and I was pleasantly surprised by the number of great shots I got in just the 5 minutes we were outside.

They're nutty, and kinda crazy sometimes (and these photos might explain a little about why I am the way I am ;), but I'm def the luckiest girl in the world to call them Mom & Dad. It doesn't get any better than these two! And even though it goes without saying...

I LOVE THEM DEARLY!!

To Be Continued...

How pretty is she?! I got to meet this little beauty tonight... and even though we had to reschedule because it started to pour outside, I managed to snap this before I left :)
