As I tend to do at the end of every year, I've been reflecting back at what 2011 has brought for my family and myself. There have been the inevitable ups and downs, highs and lows, and through it all I'm so grateful to be able to say that I have my husband, children and family to see me through. And even though it may be easy to remember and take notice of all the "big" things that have happened to us, I like to stop and recognize the little things that can get lost amongst the hustle and bustle of every day life. In doing so, I compiled a small list of the "little" things that I have come to love even moreso in the past year because as my kids get older and as our family grows, new things are happening and I'm loving the journey! Here's my list:

A New Logo for MVP!
I'm excited to say that Molly Viglione Photography has a new logo!! I had been on the hunt for one a while ago but then life got pretty busy, as it tends to do, and I gave up the search. But then, completely by accident, I came across this logo and, as soon as I saw it, I just HAD to have it! In looking at it, it felt as though, in some corny way, it reperesnted me. First off, I loved the way the name was written. The font was big and bold and was done in my favorite color, which was a big bonus. But what I loved most was the whimiscal, light-hearted, (sort of ) juvenile flower which I thought is alot like the way I tend to act when I'm with my clients. The whole thing was simple, yet fun and playful and I just had to make it mine. I received it yesterday and was dying to try it out so I've done so on a few pics from the past. Here they are and I hope you like it as much as I do :)

The Most Precious Gift
This is our third child and I think that no matter how many kids you've had, getting an ultrasound is a thrill!! There is nothing better than getting that first glimpse of the little being growing inside you that you already love and cherish, without knowing a thing about it. A little being that you've never laid eyes on before but that you would die to protect and that you know will forever change your life. It's such a surreal feeling and the only thing better is the moment that you do actually get to meet your sweet, precious little bundle. All the emotions and adrenaline flowing through every inch of you and in that instant your world only exists to hear that baby cry because once you hear it, you know they're here and they're ok. A moment you want to relive over and over again... a moment that can never be compared to any other in your entire life.
My husband and I decided that we did not want to find out the sex of this peanut, making the anticipation even greater. However, I've found that there's a calm that has come with this pregnancy that I've never had before but have sort of enjoyed. Having done this twice already, I kind of feel like a veteran with my war stories and my battle scars, but the calm also comes with knowing that this will be our last child. Knowing I will never know the exhileration of seeing 2 pink lines, or feel another flutter from tiny hands and feet, or experience the rush of giving birth makes me cherish this process even more than I have in the past... and I find myself enjoying more and complaining less as I know how quickly this process goes by. But, to say that I can't wait for this nugget to arrive is a severe understatement. With this baby, our family will be complete and I'm excited to see what that's going to look like. Til then, I'll be loving every little kick and will be daydreaming of holding our little one for the first time... our precious Little Vig :) xoxo

'Tis The Season
It has been an amazing year! This fun little blog that I started in the fall of '10 ended up becoming so much more than I ever thought it would and since jumping off into the photography world, I've had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and families!! I would like to thank each one of you who has ever given me the privilege of sharing a laugh with you, or seeing a photo of mine framed and hung on a wall, included in a card, made into an announcement, used as a wedding favor or shared as a profile picture. I've had so much fun and love that people enjoy something that is truly a passion of mine! It really doesn't get much better than that!
On top of the distinct honor I've had of photographing so many terrific people this year, I'm also grateful for all that has happened personally: my husband going back to school, my daughter starting preschool and my son becoming this adorable little mobile being. But the biggest and best gift that came this year was when we discovered that we will be welcoming another sweet baby into our family next April. We're excited to add another peanut to our crew and feel truly blessed to have what we have! So much great stuff is going on and I'm so looking forward to what lies ahead <3
Wishing you and yours a safe and happy holiday and hoping that you get all that your heart desires in 2012!
Much love and God Bless,
~Molly~

Gordon & Christina :: NH Wedding Photography :: Greenville, NH
This wonderful couple had such a blessed wedding day, from start to finish! 11-11-11 brought some good vibes... and some interesting weather! Sun, rain, snow, wind... it had a little bit of everything! But no matter what happened, nothing was going to stop Gordon and Christina!
I first met up with these two over the summer for an engagement session and it was there that I first had the pleasure of witnessing just how wonderful they are for one another. They make each other laugh and seem to enjoy the others company a great deal. That is what makes it so much fun to be around them, and what made it even more awesome was to be able to watch as they became husband and wife (in the very same church that my husband and I tied the knot).
Despite the wild weather, beautiful details and the couple being surrounded by all those who love them most, there was a feeling in the air that was hard to ignore. Christina and her family lost their loving father, Paul, and it made for mixed emotions throughout. But what I love and found totally admirable was the way this remarkably strong family made the best of it and found every opportunity to include him in a day that he was so dearly missed. There were laughs and tears but amongst it all, he was there.... we all felt it. And in remembrance of Paul, the beautiful bride and her two lovely sisters each had a white rose added to their bouquets... just a simple gesture but it spoke volumes about the bond this family shares (and they looked amazing)!
Gordon and Christina, thank you for having Dom and I there to document your very special day! We had so much fun and loved being around all those who were there to celebrate with you. They were a great crew who made us laugh! We are so happy for you both and wish you all the best in your future together! May you have a fabulous honeymoon and a long and very happy life together :) Below are a few for you to enjoy but there are plenty more coming your way...
