Buttrick Family :: Dylan's 4

I love this family! I've known Ben and Jen since high school and their adorable son, Dylan, is a dear playmate of my daughter. I was thrilled when Jen asked me to take some photos of Dylan, since he recently turned 4, and of course there was no way I was going to let Mr. & Mrs. Buttrick avoid my camera. I love how these 3 interact and Dylan was a natural, giving me poses all his own and required no direction. What you see is what you get with "Dilly." Thanks to you guys for such a fun time. I loved hanging out with you all :)

Love At Its Best :: Mike & Diane

This is one of the most beautiful couples I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! Mike and Diane met when they were young and are still together and happy. When I asked Diane what she was hoping to get from our session, she gave be the best answer I'd ever gotten. She looked at me and said, "Well, let me tell you about us..." which she did. And I loved hearing about how they met, and listening as she told their story. But then she paused, looked at me and said, "Mike has been ill for the past 4 and a half years. He has lost 90 lbs. and we don't have any pictures of us together." A problem I was more than happy to help them solve!

They were such a joy to work with and seemed happy just being together. Mike was the silly one, making remarks that would make Diane laugh, after which she would ask him nicely to be "more serious." I had such a wonderful time laughing along with them and I'm so happy to share the photos that I was able to take. Mike & Diane, I truly hope these capture just who you are as a couple and that they can bring you some joy, despite the battles you've faced together. You truly are inspirational to me, both as a couple and as individuals, and it was an honor to work with you. Much love! xoxo

Baby Bump :: Fessendens

Here's a twosome who is about to become a threesome... and this is one little wee one that I can't wait to meet!! Baby Fez, or "Biscut" as he/she has come to be called by its parents, is due to arrive in 6 weeks and I was thrilled to be able to capture these precious moments for Aaron and Jen before they welcome their little one into the family. When we had our session back in October, there was no way of knowing that those photos would represent a life they would soon leave behind as they discovered, only weeks later, that they were pregnant. And ever since, the two have been waiting anxiously to meet their sweet bundle of joy!

Jen, looking fabulous at 34 weeks, still runs 6 miles each day and I so enjoyed the way Aaron would look adoringly at his pregnant wife with eyes so full of love. I adore these two and had such a great time hanging out with them, as usual. And no matter what baby is, whether it's a SHEbiscut or a HEbiscut, I'm going to love it like crazy :) Thank you for letting me share in such a special time for you guys!!!  xoxo

Dylan :: Birthday Bash

Little Leah :: 1st Birthday Bash

I got to meet this cutie patootie back in December when we did a "Mommy & Me" session. Christin and I had our kiddos within days of one another and so I was so excited when she asked me to photograph Leah's 1st Birthday Party as I was celebrating the same occasion around the same time and could share in her excitement. Leah is such a doll with so much personality and Christin is a great mom and I just love how these two girls take on the world together. This party was such a blast! The kiddos that attended were so adorable and the attitude of everyone there was so laid back, which helped as the rain came and went throughout the afternoon. A good time was had by all and I loved that I got to be a part of it. Below are a few of my favorites :)
